Improving Your Piano's Musicality
Empirical Piano Services has a standard tuning charge of 90 dollars. This includes pedal adjustments and any other minor repairs that may be required to improve the piano's overall musicality.
Sometimes when a piano has not been serviced in a while, a pitch raise will be needed to ensure the piano's stability at the standard pitch of A-440. This pitch raise will allow me to properly tune the piano afterwards. If agreed upon, this will cost an additional 30 dollars.
I am currently charging 45 dollars an hour for repairs, regulation, and voicing.
A minimum fuel surcharge of 3 dollars will be added if you are within 15 miles of the Polaris Shopping Center(1500 Polaris Parkway, 43240). If you are over 15 miles away, there will be an additional dollar per mile on top of the initial 3 dollar surcharge.
There is also a minimum service call charge of 45 dollars plus fuel. In the event that your piano cannot be tuned or repaired, I will give you a free copy of Larry Fine's The Piano Book in order to assist you in finding a more suitable instrument.
